Jeff Stewart steps down as Nielsen Greater China Managing Director and founds the holding company Asia Market Development Ltd. in Hong Kong, enabling access into the China market
2015
Asia Market Development China WOFE (Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise) is established in Shanghai, China; Asia Market Development is launched to challenge conventional ways of doing market research in China
2016
Michael Kleinman, Founder & CEO of San Francisco-based Orange Door Research starts to discuss potential collaboration in China, exploring the use of WeChat for gathering insights
2017
Jeff & Michael begin early-testing and cross validation studies using WeChat, developing a working model for WeChat for data collection
2018
In early 2018, Orange Door Research and Asia Market Development form a strategic partnership launching WeChat-driven China Sports Voice with one group of 308 Chinese sports enthusiasts.
In April 2018 China Sports Voice gains momentum, growing to 2,000 Chinese sports fans across 14 cities who can now voice their opinions related to different sporting events and activities using WeChat.
In June 2018 China Sports Voice launches TenCent App Sporty across their WeChat groups, creating the first research-driven social network in China with real-time content; China Sports Voice quickly becomes a well-known destination for Chinese sports fans to view and voice their opinion about sports

Jeff Stewart, Co-Founder
Jeff has 20 years of General Management and Business Development experience in the Marketing Services & Marketing Research Industry with a strong focus on Emerging Markets.
Prior to founding AMD, Jeff served as Managing Director, Greater China for AC Nielsen. During his time at Nielsen, revenue and profit increased by over 38% contributing to a $500 million market leading position in China. Prior to AC Nielsen, based in Moscow, Jeff served as Managing Director, Central Eastern Europe for a Top 4 global marketing research firm growing revenue from $8.2 million – $22 million increasing profit by 40%
Jeff speaks to the worlds top executives on a quarterly bases relating to China consumer confidence.
Jeff resides in Shanghai, China.

Michael Kleinman, Head of Data Analytics
Michael Kleinman is the founder and CEO of Orange Door Research. Previously, he was Director of Investments at Humanity United, one of The Omidyar Group philanthropies. He also served as the Program Operations Officer for International Relief and Development in Iraq, the Regional Advocacy Advisor for the CARE in East and Central Africa, the Sudan Policy and Advocacy Coordinator for CARE Sudan and South Sudan, and the Afghanistan Advocacy Coordinator for CARE Afghanistan.

Eric Nygard, Senior Consultant
Eric is a 25 year veteran China marketer having worked for top advertising and media agencies in Taipei, Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
He has worked across both creative and media agenicies with his most recent leadership position being President China for McCann Health. Prior to McCann, Eric was managing director for Havas Media China and managing partner at both OMD and PHD Media. He has been responsible for big multinational brands such as Danone Waters, Danone Infant formula brands and media planning across a portfolio of Unilever brands.
Eric has rich experience in marketing and communications across China and Asia-Pacific. His 20+ year career started with Acer computers in marketing and sales and then moved into advertising with Dentsu, Young & Rubicam in Taipei.
Eric moved to Beijing with D,Y&R in 1995 where he eventually helped to launch Wunderman direct marketing in China, with Ford Motor Company as his first key account.. From there he has had senior management positions in D’Arcy in China and with DDB managing Philips lighting across 20+ markets in Asia-Pacific before moving to Starcom in 2007 where he managed their Shanghai operations.

Marco Pearman-Parish, Adviser, China
Marco Pearman-Parish has 25 years of experience working in Chinese marketing and advertising. He brings his expertise and knowledge as the CEO of Corporation China and Managing Director of Yingke Matrix.

Cammy Xu, Digital Community Manager, China
Cammy Xu brings five years of marketing and research experience to the team, grounded in her comprehension of the social app, WeChat. Her understanding of the Chinese culture helps her to connect with thousands of WeChat users and assists in building the community that is China Sports Voice.Cammy also holds a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Research, Analytics, and Communication in from the Univercity of Central Lancashire
